As always... well written... Welcome to my world... When it comes to LLM's though... I tend to settle on one (or maybe 2 if you count Gemini)... It's a brave new world when it comes to how Software is being created. One of my favorite AI quotes came from Satya Nadella, Microsoft's CEO who said a couple years back, and this is NOT an exact quote, that SAAS was going to be going entirely away in the next few years. I thought that was a bold observation given the reality that SAAS was (and still is) one of their biggest revenue streams. At any rate... Thanks again for a great article!
I wonder how much this also impacts ministry and missions. We come to expect constant updates or newer and better tools, and we don't lean into the long march of faithful serving over the years. (Or, as you previously said, Discipleship does not scale...)
The Mission Matters podcast recently interviewed Todd Wilson. He leans into this quite a bit in his book. I think this is why we have a crisis in the mega church today. I do think you're right, and I do think I am personally guilty of this. The long march necessary for both discipleship and church planting requires sustained focus.
